Recently, I began working with Sonia Palmieri at Tranquil Healthcare. Her Virginia location is tucked inside Del Ray Psych & Wellness in Alexandria, and trust me; it's worth a visit. My first KAP (Ketamine Assisted Therapy) group session was...well, it was mind-blowing. This therapy gets right down to the root of your issues fast. I had stuff come up that I've been lugging around for years. There were a couple of moments when I was having trouble letting go, but Sonia knew her stuff and guided me through it. Part of the KAP journey was setting my intentions with Sonia. During the one-on-one session, she was my personal guide through the good, the bad, and the ugly. I'd feel joy and pain, and Sonia would be right there, helping me make sense of it all. By the end of it, I was feeling lighter, and seriously, I can't remember the last time I felt so full of joy and love. It's tricky to explain how much this journey with Sonia has changed me. I know one thing for sure: I want to do it again, to see what else I can learn about myself. Sonia and the Del Ray team have created the perfect space for this kind of deep-dive healing. Finding Sonia and KAP has lit up my path to wellness. The future is looking a whole lot brighter, and I can't wait to see where this journey takes me. I normally do not write reviews but I had to take the time to provide my feedback to Sonia and Tranquil Healthcare Medspa. Being a mid-thirty’s woman I am no stranger to Aesthetic treatment and unfortunately many are focused on treatments for their profit and not on what is best for the patient. Sonia was the total opposite-taking the time to provide a detailed evaluation and provided me with outstanding PRP treatment that was thorough and beyond my expectations. A true professional, knowledgeable, not pushy, and with a focus on the patient,super sweet and caring! I felt I was in good hands and plan on returning for years to come. Truly absolutely an amazing experience!!!

Sonia at Tranquil Healthcare Medspa is fabulous! Being a NP myself and previous injector, I am very picky on who I let treat me. She has a great bedside manner, is very professional and takes her time while injecting. I will admit, I was hesitant to try Botox injections as part of my skin care and anti-aging regimen. Sonia was very patient and explained the procedures and I went through with it. Moreover, I appreciated that she provides aesthetic procedures (facials too) within a positive approach of outer self-care in congruence with helping you feel your best inside and outside! I was very pleased with the botox treatment and will be a repeat customer for sure! Professionally, I also refer clients to Sonia for mental health consultation and I am very impressed with her holistic and thorough approach to treating her clients.
