Having undergone treatment at the Ketamine Clinic of Seattle, I feel compelled to share my dismal experience to caution potential clients about what to expect. Here’s a breakdown of the travesty that unfolded: Financial Misrepresentation: Before committing to the procedure, I took the responsible step of clarifying out-of-pocket costs. I was assured - documented in email - that I would only be responsible for the co-pay. However, reality painted a different picture when the bill arrived. Not only was the amount inflated, but the clinic audaciously shrugged off their earlier commitment. They claimed that their consultation with Regence was merely a “courtesy,” thereby absolving themselves of responsibility for any discrepancies. Warning to others: Expect to be hit with costs that are considerably higher than what you're initially told. Billing Chaos: The clinic's billing department can only be described as chaotic at best. Four months post-appointment, I received my first invoice. I promptly settled the bill. But then, I got continued recurring invoices for the following 4 months – all this despite having no further appointments. These invoices were for the same appointments, adjusting, cancelling, and then reappearing - not for late fees, but new charges added to the same appointment. When I contested these shenanigans, it magically came to light that they had "accidentally" double billed me. Absence of Professional Guidance: Those unfamiliar with ketamine treatments might be under the impression that it's simply a matter of being administered a drug. In truth, at reputable clinics, a trained therapist is present to offer guidance throughout the experience. This ensures the patient’s comfort, alleviates fears, and monitors reactions. However, at the Ketamine Clinic of Seattle, the so-called "guidance" was a disinterested, untrained individual, more engrossed in their book or phone than in the patient's wellbeing. They never said a word to me during any of my visits. I felt neglected and vulnerable. Traumatizing Personal Experience: My personal experience was nothing short of a nightmare. With the lack of guidance, I felt imprisoned within my mind, subjected to what felt like an agonizing psychedelic episode. After the treatment, I was wracked with nausea, rendering me incapacitated for the entire day. It’s worth noting that the presence of a therapist might have drastically altered this harrowing experience. But as it stands, it felt like the clinic's primary objective was to extract money from as many patients as possible, rather than genuinely assisting those in need. In conclusion, if you're considering the Ketamine Clinic of Seattle for treatment, I implore you to think twice. You deserve better, both in terms of financial transparency and the quality of care.
Really genuine and empathetic staff. They were invested in my improvement and made me feel at home. Suicidal thoughts have subsided and my depression is in remission. Very satisfied with how things have worked itself out thanks to this clinic.
The Ketamine Clonic is a valued community asset and place I can trust. If you are looking to start a healing journey or continue on your path of wellness I’d encourage you give The Ketamine Clinic a try.
Dr. Chinnock and her stellar staff helped me immensely after a loved one's death and a debilitating depressive episode. I had previously been to therapy, tried medication and received ketamine infusions at clinics in New York and Seattle before finding the Ketamine Clinic of Seattle. Dr. C and her staff are by far the most professional, caring and effective physicians I have encountered in my 50 years. I dipped into my savings in order to pay for the treatments and will do so again if necessary. The monetary cost was a small price to pay for the peace of mind I gained from my experience here.
I have been struggling with PTSD and severe anxiety over the past year. I noticed a difference after only 2 infusions at this clinic! My anxiety has decreased considerably. They are knowledgeable and caring practitioners. The clinic is easy to access, clean and comfortable. They even take my insurance. I look forward to going there. It is such a relief to know that this clinic is there for me.
