I've struggled my whole life with anxiety, depression and complex PTSD from childhood trauma. I've been on countless medications and treatments including talk therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, cognitive behavior therapy etc. I've read and researched several books and topics of treatment but I struggled with the constant ups and downs in my moods, irrational thinking and impulsive and destructive behaviors. I'm not going to say that none of the treatments helped because they did help me to understand my trauma and patterns but I was still struggling with constant mood swings that left me debilitated at times. My doctor recomended ketamine treatments. So, after much research, I started ketamine treatments in 9.2022. I know everybody responds differently but I know the chemistry in my brain has changed drastically! I no longer have the intense mood swings. For the first time in my life, I feel normal. There was always a dark shadow hanging over me daily and now the shadow is gone. Psychedelic therapy has worked wonders for me. Todd and Nicole Merkley are very thorough in explaining the process. They make you feel at ease and safe with every visit and they monitor you the entire session. I love coming in for my treatments. Although, most insurances say they don't cover treatments, my insurance has been good to compensate a portion. Make sure to get a letter of medical necessity submitted to your insurance company by your pcp.

I have been on antidepressants for 20+ years and have tried several different ones with varying results over the years. My husband is a psychotherapist and had read of success with ketamine therapy for treatment resistant depression. It was an easy choice to use Todd after speaking with him and Nicole separately.
