The staff especially Charles are great. They make you feel safe and comfortable during the experience every session. I only have great things to stay about everyone. I do want to be honest that Ketamine did not help me unfortunately. In my case it made me worse rather than better. The experience of the infusion itself was fine and overall a beautiful experience but the mental effects have been brutal. I haven’t been this depressed in a very long time and my anger levels have gone up drastically. I am typically not an angry person. My migraines worsened as well. It is not as common to become worse from Ketamine but it does happen based on studies. I wanted to write a review incase someone else has the same experience so they won’t feel alone. Ketamine does help many people and I think it’s a positive outcome for many but everyone is different. This is a super expensive treatment and in my opinion should be tried when nothing else is working. I think cognitive behavioral therapy or a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy and dialectical behavioral therapy should be tried first with a therapist. If you do ketamine therapy be sure to have a therapist to speak with who understands the ketamine therapy treatment. It helps a lot I have heard. In my case my therapist didn’t understand what ketamine infusions really did and it made things difficult to discuss. One thing that I believe could be improved are the surveys that this clinic uses. I took it and it ranked me as very depressed and the clinic doesn’t seem to review any of the surveys unfortunately. No one ever discussed my survey results with me. I would say for most people Ketamine is probably going to be super helpful but wanted to share my thoughts and experience! ❤️

Highly recommend this place! The best staff you will ever meet. Charles is extremely knowledgeable,comforting, and has such a great reputation in anesthesiology. He actually put me under for open heart 10 years ago , so I have definitely trusted him with my life before and would anytime. The staff are all so compassionate. Very relaxing office, Highly suggest anyone get a consultation that has ever had any depression,ptsd, or anxiety issues. They focus completely on these issues and depression. Mine was extremely severe and it’s amazing how much different it feels to think clearly and not have anxiety thoughts constantly. Any depression I had, vanished. I could literally think of the saddest thing ever right now and I can process it normally instead of it taking over my life. It’s a process, I definitely have a long way to go and it does bring up some rough feelings and thoughts but it lets your brain compact then and move on ,but so far I feel like this would have saved my life so long ago if I had known about it.Thank you Blake and Brian for so many good visits. And Charles, I could never even express how much I appreciate you. Ketamine therapy is definitely a life saver when used correctly. It’s worth every penny, please do NOT try any other at home versions or things online. He is an extremely smart anesthesiologist and the science backs the fact it only gets the real benefits through IV therapy in a monitored setting. They actually have your vitals and watch you the entire time. Safe and works. Also it’s impossible to find a med I could take with my current ones but this has 0 interactions with anything I have looked up.

I started my ketamine infusion therapy last year at Scenic City Neurotherapy, and after my initial series of treatments and several booster doses, it has significantly improved my quality of life. The staff and providers are second to none, especially Connie who does scheduling, as well as Charles and Jason, who have been the nurse anesthetists giving the infusions. Everyone else there is amazing as well. They are some of the most caring professionals I’ve ever encountered in the medical field, and I would highly recommend this clinic for anyone struggling with mental health issues.

I was at the end of my rope and was in a very dark place due to pain from chronic kidney stones and interstitial cystitis. My pain was intolerable and I was giving up hope of life ever being the same. My consultant was great and Charles presented the information in a very down to earth way. He never tried to talk over my head and keep things real. I am going to be honest and say that I had some unpleasant treatments. I didn’t have pleasant treatments like most. I had a lot of suppressed emotions and had became numb to emotions and my treatments showed that. But on the 4th treatment, while driving over to Chattanooga, I noticed that I seen color in the leaves. I was in such awe looking at the beautiful colors that I hadn’t seen in years. I didn’t feel or notice much difference through my treatments but about a month after my last treatment, I started really feeling different, feeling like I did before the pain and depression took over my life. I am getting so much energy (no energy in at least 7-8 years), I am enjoying my children again, I am getting back out in society and actually look forward to it instead of that horrible dread, the horrible feeling. I have done a couple of interviews and plan to go back to work after 6.5 years of not being able to. These treatments work! You may not see a huge difference during treatments if you are in a really bad place and have chronic pain issues on top of the depression like me, but relief will come relatively soon after your last treatment. Charles and Jason have no clue just how many places and doctors I have seen trying to get my life back. How much money I have wasted trying to find answers, trying to find help. They have no clue of the mental state I was in when I went in for my consult, I will say that this was a last resort treatment. It literally saved my life. I have even went to the Mayo for 4 weeks for treatment. If the Mayo had this procedure to add to their treatment program, oh my gosh, it would be a game changer for an infinite amount of people out there looking for help and hope. I wish there was a way to mix the 2 together because it would be a medical breakthrough. I would love to be a part of trying to bring the 2 together. I would definitely be a spokesperson for it! If you are down to the last string on your last rope and barely hanging on, run to Charles and Jason! You matter and are needed, so don’t change your love ones world to a world without you in it, call Connie (the most amazing sweet lady there is) and get in asap for a consult and take your life back! I wish there was a way for me to talk to each person considering this so I could tell you my story and let you know there is hope! But there is hope!!!!! Call them today!
