We paid for a doctor visit before my husband tried katamine for the first time. The doctor spent the whole time trying to convince my husband he had a thyroid issue. The doc didn’t prescribe the ketamine doseage. Instead the nurses decided how much to dose. The dose (110) ended up being almost 3 times too high. He experienced “ego death”. Worst experience of his life. He couldn’t move or speak. And they left him ALONE. Never checked on him. We told them our concerns and they didn’t care. This place used to be great. But now they are all about the money. Ketamine is a life saver. But please don’t use Rising Health.

I’m really impressed with Rising Health. The staff is always so nice and helpful. The MA guy (I can’t remember his name) was fantastic and made me feel at ease. Sharlene was absolutely amazing. She took so much time to educate me and made sure I understood. This is the first time I have left a doctors appt feeling hopeful and confident! I highly recommend this place!

I am beyond thrilled. When I started seeing Dr. Kalva a year ago, I was always exhausted, with brain fog, joint pain and irritability. I pounded down caffeine all day just to function. By managing my hormones differently, low inflammation diet and supplements Dr. Kalva literally cleaned up my whole system. I feel like a different person. I work an active job all day without fatigue- AND without caffeine. I sleep better, I am calmer, and feel mentally clear. Here is the best (an unintended) benefit: I had wanted a cat for years, but gave up on it due to allergies I developed in early adulthood. Two months ago, I saw a stray cat in my yard and took him in, intending to find a home for him as I believed I could not keep him. I was stunned to discover I am no longer having reactions and I now have a cat!

I was a patient at this clinic for several years. Historically I was treated well other than a few mistakes by the clinic when calling in prescriptions. However, my last interaction was very offputting. I was pulled into a room and followed in by two individuals. They told me that I was consistently filling my medication early. I have a record that shows that I do not. They then told me that my pharmacy had contacted them stating that I was trying to fill another person’s medication. I contacted that pharmacy’s corporate office to verify this story. It turns out that a technician had miscommunicated to the pharmacist after I had asked what the dispense date of a medication was, and when it would be due to fill again. The pharmacy then contacted the clinic to explain that there had been a misunderstanding and that they had made a mistake. The pharmacy’s headquarters then called me and relayed that clinic staff told them that my bizarre interaction had nothing to do with any phone call from any pharmacist. This leaves me very puzzled. What in the world was this all about? I even received a dismissal letter but then was told later that I could continue to be seen. I’ve called a couple of times to try to ascertain why I was berated for something that I absolutely did not do and why I haven’t received an apology. I will say this is not the norm for this clinic. However, it is still a deep concern of mine. I am very disappointed and have found a new provider who I hope will be more professional and caring.

Dr. Girish Kalva, MD is very thorough and really spends time getting to know his patients. I was very impressed with the questions and feedback he had for me. I have already recommended Dr. Kalva to friends and family. He didn't make me feel rushed and took the time to explain things to me.
