I've been going here for almost a year. The staff are always amazing. I actually look forward to my appointments. DR. Famoyin is always available to answer my questions and very thorough.
Dr. Famoyin is a seriously scary person… not even going to say “Dr.” He is one of the doctors that was found guilty of extreme fraud in the cancer care practice several years ago. He was only fined about a million $, but Dr. Kincaid, an associate, served prison time. I went to Dr. Famoyin to receive infusions for MS- once & only once! He required 3 visits to see HIM, charging for each visit. I have NEVER been to an infusion clinic (I’ve been to 5 total) where you have to even see a Dr AT ALL! As my neurologist stated- that’s your referring doctor’s job. The atmosphere of the clinic was unfriendly, stressed, very strange communications between staff members. I was left sitting in a room for 45 minutes after Dr Famoyin “saw” me (only asking me why I was there & how was I feeling 🙄-$45) until I finally asked when was I getting my treatment. They said they forgot I was there & next time to remind them. WHAT?!!! I finally got my infusion, & the girl next to me was getting the same med- Ocrevus. Within just a few minutes of starting the infusion, her and I BOTH had an allergic reaction of throat swelling & severe itching. They had to treat us both for that. THIS WAS THE SIXTH TIME I HAD BEEN TREATED WITH THIS DRUG! I HAD NEVER HAD ANY REACTION TO IT IN THE LEAST! I had always felt relief from my relapse after a few days of treatment, but not this time. I couldn’t even tell I had been treated. I can’t prove it, but I KNOW that what ever was administered to me wasn’t Ocrevus! My neurologist pulled all of her patients from his clinic as soon as I shared my experience w/ her, stating that his insistence of having to see patients himself was a huge red flag. I reported the clinic and TBI interviewed me because they suspected him of Medicare fraud & were investigating him. So, heads up people, please go elsewhere! This was an extremely upsetting experience for me! (Written by my daughter, the patient.)
I’m so Thankful for Dr Famoyin & his Staff very kind , caring & considerate
Have been trying to get in contact with this facility for two weeks, no answer, the office is on holiday for days that are not holiday. I have now 2 days left to get my 2 nd infusion or I will not be able to receive treatment. This is not a place I would trust or recommend. Drug manufacturers and doctors can not even get in contact with this place.
