Just had my first treatment. I just want to say to everyone out there who is suffering and struggling-- call this place up and get scheduled. Update: got my 8th treatment today. PTSD flashbacks are completely gone at this point. I can't believe what this clinic has done for me. It's miraculous. Thank you Kelly, Claire, Cameron, the front desk and the whole team.

Ben's Phone

I have been going here for several years now and the nurses and staff are wonderful, caring people who go above and beyond and genuinely invest themselves in positive patient outcomes, whether by recommending reading related to specific life situations, providing attentive reassurance during challenging experiences, and following up post-treatment. I had a particularly intense session due to some ongoing events in my life and the nurses and staff were all very caring and accommodating and skillfully eased my agitation (and I am no stranger to psychedelic experiences). It made a difficult situation into an ultimately positive experience and made all of the difference.

This is where I started my infusions before moving to a pain clinic. I cannot say enough amazing things about this place, and had I been doing this for mental health, I would absolutely have stayed here. I feel they are much more suited for mental health where as my current clinic focuses on pain management. I love this place so much that I'm Bringing my mom here as soon as she gets her referral. I would say my only complaint is that my husband wasn't allowed to sit with me and now that he is allowed to at the other clinic, my experience is a million times better. I will also wait to bring my mom until I can sit with her because I know she will need me. But I trust this place 100% and the staff are beyond amazing! I also love the Bellvue clinic. They are just all amazing! Thank you for all you do! ❤

This place LITERALLY saved my life, and I’m not saying that lightly. When I started treatment I had a suicide note written for about a week and all I wanted to do was die. I had burned through all of the commonly prescribed antidepressants, spent nearly a month in the hospital, and felt as though I had exhausted all of my treatment options. I never thought I would ever feel “okay” again. But now, I feel better than okay, I feel GOOD. For the first time in probably 2.5 years I don’t have suicidal thoughts, even since my first infusion. It literally felt like a hand reached down to the depths of hell and pulled me out. Ketamine gave me life, it’s as simple as that. Also special shoutout to my nurse Melissa! 12/10 would recommend! She has always been so kind, always there to joke with me and really make me feel at home! I never thought I would feel okay again. So thank you NW Ketamine Clinic for saving my life.

Ketamine works, but do your homework. I have had this treatment before, and my doctor moved. I came here hoping to do my maintenance treatments, but after a disturbing experience I cannot recommend it. The people were so very nice and accommodating, which is why I wish I was writing a different review, but this is healthcare, and you should expect more. 1) The technician (or nurse) who inserts the needle into your vein was completely inexperienced. She took a lot of time (like 5 minutes) checking both arms for the best vein. My veins are all robust, and nobody has ever had an issue with just picking one. She also missed and struggled to get the needle in correctly, and I now have a huge bruise on my arm. The paperwork did mention that they won't be held responsible for having to try multiple times, or for bruising, which should have tipped me off that they were training someone on me, or had little confidence in their ability. I don't know about you, but this is already a stressful situation - having depression and going somewhere to have a powerful hallucinogen put into your bloodstream. Being a practice doll did not help. 2) I will attribute this to the fact that I had just had surgery and was perhaps fragile in some way, but my hands, foot, and leg seized up during treatment. I was drugged, but managed to say I was seizing, but the tech (or nurse) did not help or get help. I said it again, and she did not acknowledge that I said this. After I came out of it and she had removed the line, she got the head nurse, who oddly said he was comfortable going lower or higher with the dose in the future. Higher on someone who seized up? Nope. Don't let this put you off Ketamine. It is the only thing that ever worked for me, and it is a life saver. Just be sure to meet the physician, ensure she or he is in the clinic every time you are being treated (if not in the room), and nobody with less training than a registered nurse should monitor you. There are clinics popping up all over the place which do this, and a spray is available too. You have choices. Update: This was definitely Northwest Ketamine Clinics. I have had many lines inserted, and never, ever had an issue before. Much more concerning was the lack of response to my hands and feet/leg seizing up. Monitoring is a critical part of the process, and does not just involve taking blood pressure from time to time. As stated, everyone was nice, but I did not feel they were properly trained. I also am concerned there was not a doctor available. Make sure you always have a doctor nearby.
