Easy parking either inside the building and plenty of meter parking around the building. Once you walk into the office you’re greeted by a calm welcoming voice. The office is lovely and all the people working there made me feel comfortable right away. They let me pick my room because I think I may have been the first appointment that day. This treatment was the first time for me, so my heart rate was on the high side, we had to wait a little bit for it to come down to start the Ketamine therapy. They assured me that this can happen the first time for some folks. During the first treatment I did get a little nervous while I was under that I wasn’t gonna make it back to reality, so I did panic towards the end. My second treatment I didn’t have that anxiety and felt more confidence in the therapy. Unfortunately, I had to catch a plane that evening so I didn’t have a chance to try a third treatment. My depression lifted about a week and a half after the 2nd treatment, and it’s now been over a month and I’m still doing well. Dr Jenn is extremely knowledgeable, made me feel comfortable and she’s very easy to talk to. I personally loved the experience and would like to try it for my pain next. It did help me with pain for about a week but I was told upfront that I’d most likely need 6 longer treatments for that outcome. Highly recommend Golden Afternoon. I lucked out on my second treatment because Victoria the co~founder was there, she came into the room before my treatment started and did a little meditation with me which helped calm me down and immediately helped my anxiety and heart rate. I wish I lived a bit closer, but when I’m back in Los Angeles I will come for another treatment. 🙏 This therapy really got me out of a dark space, and actually has helped my imagination return. I don't write a lot of reviews but had to make an exception for Golden Afternoon. This is the third Ketamine treatment center I've had dealings with and by far the best. Dr. Jenn truly cares about her patients. She is very experienced and displayed true compassion when talking with me. The office and staff are very calming and welcoming. The open door to the office when you get off the elevator and the perfectly appointed treatment rooms are a nice touch. The bottom line is the treatment works. I'm in my 60's and have been doing different forms of therapy my whole life. The ketamine has given me the best results in the shortest amount of time. If your on the fence this is the place to put your trust. Peace!

Founders Dr. Jenn Ellice, an emergency room physician, and Victoria Webster, a specialist in soma therapy, have set a new gold standard with their innovative therapy treatment center. Also staffed with registered nurses, one can have utmost confidence in receiving top notch medical care given in a gorgeous spa-like setting. Every detail of the office has been thoroughly thought out from a patient-focused perspective. The colorful and beautifully appointed rooms, the heated zero gravity chairs, comfy blankets, satin eye masks, and carefully curated soundtracks played through noise cancelling headphones, all ensure a calm and nurturing environment. The infusion treatments themselves were utterly profound, stunning, and life changing. All of this is only heightened by the time and compassion Dr. Jenn and her staff give to each patient before, during, and after treatment. Their passion for using new therapeutic modalities to help heal the brain and the patient is exciting to experience. I am so grateful to Dr. Jenn and everyone at Golden Afternoon for such an amazing journey!
