I recently finished a series of six Ketamine infusions with Exodus Health. Going in, I was apprehensive, because I didn’t know what to expect. After my first consultation with Trey, I felt reassured. He possesses an extraordinary knowledge of Ketamine, the kind that can only come from years of hands-on experience. He has a passion to help others, driven by his own family experiences with this treatment, and he genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients. My sessions went exactly as he described, both during and after. The clinic is very nice with private, comfortable rooms. The experience itself is hard to put into words. While very pleasant and relaxing, the sensations can seem weird at first. Afterwards is the hardest part. You will feel wobbly for the rest of the day, perhaps nauseated, and you will certainly need someone to drive you home. I was able to return to work the following morning. I noticed an immediate improvement in my mood, though the effects subsided a bit after 48 hours. Initially, I wasn’t sure about doing the full six infusions, as Trey recommended, but I’m glad I did. With each infusion, the relief lasted longer. In between rounds I found myself looking forward to the next, knowing how great I would feel the next day. Ketamine is an invaluable tool, one without the persistent fog of SSRIs and all the other side effects. For me, the results have been unmatched by anything else. I have better focus, which I did not expect, more energy, and more interest in my work and in my hobbies, with a wider range of emotions. Trey is an amazing practitioner and a great person–a godsend in every sense of the word. I feel lucky to have Exodus as a clinic here in Houston and him as a caregiver.
