I had an appointment with Dr Harrison Howarth recently and the whole experience was fantastic. Really nice place, relaxed, professional and welcoming, so I felt compelled to leave a 5 star review. Although I don't require a follow up, if I did I would come straight back without hesitation.
This review is for the reception and communication not for the doctors. Communicating with the reception drove me crazy, very brief and not always to the point answers to my questions, I had to follow up myself before the appointments and find out only last minute that there were issues with the payments when in fact they did not even send the invoice to my insurance company but were asking me to call the company and solve the problem with the payment.
I've only had one appointment with this clinic but felt compelled to leave a review. All the reception staff have been extremely professional and helpful. I had an appointment with Dr Clark. He really put me at ease and I felt like he was genuinely interested in my situation. He's very personable and answered all my questions throughly. He didn't come accross as patronising, as I've unfortunately experienced with other doctors.
I've had an absolutely wonderful experience working with Jake. He is so knowledgable about the mind- how it works and how to understand it in trying moments, which is so valuable in career and personal contexts. I've been seeing a therapist for years but Jake stands out as truly the best that I've ever worked with. I learned so much about managing my own triggers and physiological responses to anxiety in what has been the most difficult year of my life. I can't thank Jake enough for his help!
I recently had some extremely worthwhile and invaluable sessions with Jake. He helped me identify how I respond in certain situations, which after some indepth discussions, helped me understand some of the reasons behind my responses. Jake asked thought provoking questions throughout the sessions and helped me understand how my thoughts, emotions and behaviours are affected by my core beliefs and the impact they have on my daily life. Since these sessions, I am more aware of my behaviours and now feel equipped to make significant changes.
