Blue Sky Ketamine has been for me not only life-changing,but life saving. I met Dr. Rosen acutely suicidal with intolerable anxiety, night mares/terrors, lifelong depression and various other problems. Dr Rosen and staff make it obvious that they genuinely care about people and their individual problems. Thanks to this place combined with therapy and support, my life and my brain are unrecognizable compared to when I started treatment. I enjoy hobbies again, I'm able to help others, and I am able to tolerate stressors that would have previously derailed me. I am so thankful for Dr. Rosen and his clinic.
I have long suffered from anxiety, PTSD, depression and SUD throughout my life. Dr. Rosen and his staff came highly recommended to me by another doctor. I immediately made an appointment and haven’t looked back. The treatments are like no other that I have ever undergone, and positive results were felt immediately. Dr. Rosen explained the process of how this treatment works from the start and has established a treatment plan that will work with my needs. He and his staff have been empathetic, supportive, kind, patient and most of all amazing. I am a wife, mother and importantly a human being and thanks to them I can live as such. I owe a great deal of gratitude and appreciation to Dr. Rosen and his staff.
Two years ago we found this clinic and I couldn't be more thankful. I already had experience with ketamine treatment from another clinic and the start was promising, but I still had really bad CPTSD triggers. I was in bad mental state after a bad trigger happened when we arrived at the clinic. Dr. Rosen was so calm and in control with the whole situation that I didn't have another panic attack. His wife prepared me for the treatment very professionally and it helped a lot. Clinics have different styles in treatment rooms and their style is to lay down, wearing eyeshades and listening soothing music. The dosage was also on point right away. Dr. Rose is really knowledgeable and skilled and I will continue as his patient. After three years and I am in really good shape! I knew I have to commit to a longer treatment for lasting results and fortunately I continued patiently. I recommend his treatment even if you have to travel from a longer distance because there are big differences between these clinics. I went through total three before I found this one. Thank you so much!
I had initially taken my wife to another ketamine clinic, and sadly the results were not nearly as good as our experience at Blue Sky. Dr Rosen was so much more knowledgeable and compassionate than every other practice we had talked to. Dr. David’s ability to unify with the hearts and minds of his patients prior to treatment is really a sight to behold. I can say from experience that not all ketamine clinics are created equal. We chose this clinic to travel to out of our home state of Michigan because it was the best choice of care we could find for my wife.
I'd like to highly recommend Dr. Rosen and his team at Blue Sky Ketamine who helped me tremendously towards ending my lifelong battle with depression. I have had depression symptoms since I was 17 years old. I worked with four different therapists, and tried over six different drugs/dosages, over the the years. When I came down with chronic back pain, I found that the combination of depression and chronic pain made my life almost intolerable. I never knew when the bouts of depression would appear on top of the pain, and when they did, several times a week, my thinking was impaired, I was hopeless and disinterested, and I became thoroughly exhausted every time I moved out of the sofa or bed. It felt like I was wearing a skirt of heavy armor around my waist. I never wanted to get out of bed, which seemed to be my only place of some pain relief. I was taking far more pain killers than I was comfortable with. During this time I was also taking antidepressants, but they were only effective maybe a third of the time. I heard about Ketamine and felt that it might be my last resort. I researched and found Dr. Rosen and had a long conversation in which he gave me a lot of information and answered all my questions. I felt that, indeed, it was worth trying. I wanted to give Ketamine a good try since I was once again quite desperate, and decided to do six sessions. Of course, I knew I could stop at any time. The results were unbelievable, and I thought about stopping after two sessions, but I didn't. I was afraid that it might be my desperation that would make me exaggerate the effectiveness of Ketamine for a while - a kind of placebo effect - but I began noticing some things that made me confident that it was working. After Ketamine, I would lose track of time (in a good way) and realize that I had been working on some task long past the time that I would have felt I needed a rest or a nap. I found myself spontaneously attacking tasks that had seemed impossible to me and that I had put off for months or years. I started looking forward to things and setting up appointments that I would have delayed, waiting for a time when I was sure I could do it. I also received some good counsel from Dr. Rosen about the studies on the brain chemistry behind Ketamine, which made me drop my concern about a placebo effect. I am now operating, eight months after the treatments, at much higher levels of energy, initiative, cognitive clarity, calmness and - dare I say it - happiness. The threat of depression has become infrequent and I don't fear it any more. All the ways I learned to recognize and stop depression in its tracks, I can do now with little difficulty. If you have any inkling towards trying Ketamine, please do some reading and call Dr. Rosen.
