A colleague spoke very highly of Ballen. I called to set up an appointment, but due to an unforeseen technicality, I will have needed to search for a different practitioner. Despite that, Bailey patiently and respectfully helped explain things, provide some great alternatives, and information about them, and even email me some info so that I had a clear understanding as well as the next step to take. Customer service started rapidly evaporating away what seems like everywhere recently-corporations decided it was acceptable to field complaints or questions with an outdated chatbot, outsourced call centers, or maybe just have an email address/form on the bottom of a webpage (after all, this is a cheaper and much 'tidier' way to pretend to offer an open ear to the masses without having to pay someone to listen to their critical voices or without management having to see their tired faces, right?). That de-humanizing attitude is what sets mediocre businesses apart from the truly great ones that actually care about the people they do business with. All that said, Ballen is evidently run by staff who actually care about you and want to help; if the circumstances should permit so in the future, this will be the first place I call. Thank you! (and apologies for my rant)

Staff initially increased my husband's benzodiazepine medication, the medication he has been taking for 15+ years, and then abruptly stopped prescribing the same benzodiazepine medication. He had several incidents brought on by his psychosis which was due to the withdrawal from the medication that Ballen Medical abruptly stopped prescribing. The psychosis exacerbated his schizophrenia symptoms which Ballen Medical was fully aware of and now my husband has been diagnosed with, among other things, full blown schizophrenia and is awaiting transportation from the county jail to the state mental hospital due to episodes his psychosis caused which was caused by Ballen Medicals decision to abruptly stop prescribing my husband medication that he had been taking for over 10 years when he began seeing Doctors at Ballen Medical, the same medication that Doctors chose to increase the dosage on shortly before refusing to prescribe it. I've been with my husband for 13+ years and we have two kids, prior to his psychosis, he had manageable symptoms and was a productive part of society but due to the actions/inactions of Ballen Medical, my husband has been taken from me and my children lost their father. We trusted Ballen Medical to care for and support my husband but instead they deteriorated him to psychosis with no regard for his mental or physical well being.

If you want your time wasted and your hopes brought down on the day of meeting. Choice this place. I went through 2 weeks of waiting for a meeting with the therapist he pushed it back multiple times. They wait until the day of my appointment call me 2 hours before and tell me they won't and can't see me because my insurance is Medicare. Why didn't you tell me that 2 weeks ago. You're a joke

This is a great place. They helped me get off my psychiatric medication and treat my mental health with supplements and lifestyle changes. They’ve done a lot more for my mental health than anywhere I’ve ever been hands down. Dr. Ballen and Leslie are very caring and smart women. I am doing a lot better than I’ve ever been I’ve been off meds completely for a month and a lot more stable. I still had to do a lot of work but they were able to guide me in the right direction and Leslie did trust me that I could get off my meds I’ve been on for 6 years. They really do care here. Thank you!

This place saved my life. Dr. Beth Ballen is different from every other doctor I’ve had. Every one of my previous doctors didn’t sincerely care for my health or well-being, were selfish with their time, or were just in it for the money. Dr. Ballen wasn’t. She truly cared for my health and happiness. I’ve been struggling with serious mental health problems for years. With Dr. Ballen’s expert psychiatry and after completing some IV infusions at Ballen Medical & Wellness, I was able to climb out of a very dark place. I felt immediate relief, and it was all thanks to Dr. Ballen, Danielle, Hannah, Quinn, Andrea, and the rest of the immensely caring, loving, and professional staff at Ballen Medical & Wellness. I don’t understand any other negative reviews as the overwhelming majority of those under Dr. Ballen’s care got the help they needed. I recommend her and her business without any reservations whatsoever.
