My treatment for depression with Ketamine was very different than anything I have ever experienced. In a good way! I did feel better after three treatments. Not the "turn the world upside down" kinda better... just not depressed. I only wish that the price was more reasonable to make this treatment more accessible. $500/treatment is way to much given that Ketamine is very cheap to purchase from manufactures.

I can't recommend Avesta highly enough. I've had nothing but great experiences. The clinic is very nice and relaxing, the staff is friendly and kind and Dr. E is so caring and knowledgable. They take great pains to make sure the experience is positive and tailored to your needs. The treatments have had such an amazing effect on my wellbeing. I feel profound relief and my outlook on life has completely changed. Definitely research ketamine treatment and testimonials before jumping in, just to know what it's like (it's not a good fit for everyone). But if you've already decided to go for it, Avesta is pretty much the best you can get.

The staff at Avesta are very kind and helpful. With three locations, I have been able to use each one of them to help reduce the drive times for my visits. The process and the rooms help significantly to make sure you have the right "set and setting" for your treatment. They are careful to ensure that your vitals are checked before and after treatments. The staff has also been very accommodating, allowing me to stay a bit longer after the treatment to better adjust before I leave or to write down some of my thoughts after the treatment. Prior to Avesta, I was doing the at home treatments with the sublingual tablets. While the experience was nice to have in the comfort of my home, I never felt 100% safe, taking a Ketamine treatment without a doctor or nurse ensuring my safety. Overall, this is a wonderful practice. I am reaching the last of my initial treatments and I look forward to my follow up visits to maintain the improvements I have made.

I struggled with depression and PTSD for years. I tried various treatments such as various medications, verbal therapy, EMDR, nothing helped enough to pull me out of a dark place or feel safe. Thankfully I met Dr. E and Stephanie at the D.C. location and began chatting about what treatments they provide. One thing about the office staff is, is that there's no pressure. They are informative, kind and encourage you to do research. I can't stress enough how wonderful and caring they are! I have now done 6 treatments and have experienced positive changes (Be Patient, the IV treatment is different for everyone) the dark tunnel I dug for myself began to get lighter. Times when I didn't want to get out of bed, eat, shower and other normal tasks I didn't have will to do, I began getting up and doing them with lesser difficulty. This treatment has been an eye opener for me and it saved me from myself. I work in D.C. but live in Maryland. Conveniently, they do have McLean, VA and Bethesda, MD too. This has helped tremendously for me due to scheduling. I have been extremely satisfied on how flexible they can be. They are really there to help patients and that makes me feel extremely safe. My journey to feeling better is still in progress, but I believe in this treatment. I am truly grateful to the staff for giving me my life back.
